Lab-grown gemstones are gems that are created in a laboratory environment, as opposed to being mined from the earth. They are chemically, physically, and optically identical to natural gems and can be used in jewelry in the same way. They are created through techniques such as Hydrothermal method, Czochralski (CZ) Method, High Pressure High Temperature (HPHT diamond) or Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD diamond) processes, and are often referred to as lab created gemstones or cultured gems.
