At Moissanite Gemstone Store, we stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of the jewelry we manufacture and sell. Every piece is carefully inspected before shipment, and our team is available to assist with eligible warranty issues, maintenance and aftercare after your purchase.
Moissanite Gemstone Store is the official online store of WeJEWELER, a gemstone and fine jewelry manufacturer established in 1998.
1-Year Limited Workmanship Warranty
Our eligible jewelry is covered by a 1-year limited workmanship warranty from the date of delivery.
This warranty covers manufacturing or workmanship defects that occur under normal wear, including eligible issues related to:
- Jewelry construction and workmanship
- Manufacturing defects in metal components
- Eligible setting or assembly defects
- Clasps, connections or other structural components that fail due to a manufacturing defect
If we determine that an issue is covered by our warranty, we may repair or replace the affected component at our discretion.
Warranty service must be approved by our team before any item is returned.
Complimentary First-Year Minor Aftercare
During the first year after delivery, we may provide complimentary minor aftercare for eligible jewelry when appropriate.
Depending on the item and condition, this may include services such as:
- Minor tightening of loose settings
- Light polishing
- Basic cleaning
- Minor adjustment of eligible clasps or components
- Inspection of gemstone settings and jewelry condition
Complimentary service does not include damage caused by accidents, misuse, excessive wear, improper care or alterations made by another jeweler.
Shipping costs may apply.
Lifetime Aftercare Support
Our relationship with our customers does not end when the warranty period expires.
We offer lifetime aftercare support for jewelry purchased from Moissanite Gemstone Store. After the complimentary warranty or service period has ended, our team can continue to assist with maintenance, repair, refinishing, resizing and other eligible services.
Depending on the work required, service, material and shipping charges may apply.
Please contact us with photos and details of your jewelry before sending any item back.
What Is Not Covered
Our warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or damage caused by circumstances outside the manufacturing process.
Examples include:
- Scratches, dents or surface wear from normal use
- Metal discoloration caused by chemicals, cosmetics or improper care
- Bent, crushed or misshapen jewelry
- Damage caused by impact, accidents or misuse
- Broken, chipped, scratched or lost gemstones
- Gemstones becoming loose due to impact or excessive wear
- Chains, clasps or components damaged through pulling or misuse
- Loss of the jewelry or any part of the jewelry
- Damage caused by improper storage or cleaning
- Natural changes to surface finishes or plating over time
- Damage caused by resizing, repair or alteration performed by another jeweler
- Unauthorized modification of the original jewelry
Fine jewelry naturally requires periodic inspection and maintenance, especially pieces worn frequently such as engagement rings, wedding bands and tennis jewelry.
보석
Our workmanship warranty applies to the jewelry manufacturing and setting where eligible.
It does not guarantee gemstones against breakage, chipping, scratching, abrasion, loss or damage caused after delivery.
Although materials such as lab-grown diamonds, moissanite, sapphire and ruby are highly durable, no gemstone is indestructible.
We recommend removing fine jewelry during activities that may expose it to impact, chemicals, heavy pressure or excessive abrasion.
Loose Gemstones
Loose gemstones are inspected before shipment.
The jewelry workmanship warranty does not apply to loose stones because they are not finished jewelry products.
Once a loose gemstone has been received, damage caused during setting, mounting, handling, cutting, repolishing, repair or modification by a third party is not covered by our warranty.
If a loose gemstone arrives damaged, defective or different from what you ordered, please contact us promptly in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy.
Ring Resizing
Ring resizing may be available depending on the design, metal, gemstone setting and amount of size adjustment required.
Some rings, including certain eternity bands, highly detailed designs or pieces with stones extending around the entire band, may not be suitable for resizing.
Resizing requested after delivery may involve service, material and shipping charges.
Jewelry that has been resized or altered by a third-party jeweler may no longer qualify for warranty coverage related to the altered area.
Repairs by Third Parties
We strongly recommend contacting us before allowing another jeweler or repair service to modify your jewelry.
Repairs, resizing, setting work or modifications performed by a third party may affect or void warranty coverage for the areas involved.
We cannot be responsible for damage caused by repair, alteration or workmanship performed by another company or jeweler.
Custom & Made-to-Order Jewelry
Our warranty applies to eligible manufacturing and workmanship issues in:
- Ready-to-ship jewelry
- Made-to-order jewelry
- Fully custom jewelry
However, warranty coverage does not apply to changes in personal preference after the approved design has been produced.
For custom jewelry, customers are given the opportunity to review and approve the CAD design before production. Once the final design has been approved and production has been completed, design preferences are not considered manufacturing defects.
How to Request Warranty or Aftercare Service
Please contact our customer support team before returning any jewelry.
Provide:
- Your name
- Order number
- Description of the issue
- Clear photos or videos showing the affected area
Our team will review the request and advise whether the issue appears eligible for warranty service, complimentary aftercare or paid repair.
Do not send jewelry back without prior authorization.
Shipping for Warranty & Repair Service
Customers are generally responsible for shipping jewelry to us for inspection, maintenance or repair unless otherwise agreed.
If we confirm that an issue is caused by an eligible manufacturing defect within the warranty period, we will advise you of the available solution and applicable return shipping arrangements.
For non-warranty maintenance or repair, shipping, labor and material costs may apply.
We recommend using a tracked and appropriately insured shipping method when returning valuable jewelry.
Inspection & Repair Time
Service time depends on the type of jewelry and the work required.
Simple maintenance may be completed relatively quickly, while resizing, resetting gemstones, metal repair or more complex work may require additional production time.
We will provide an estimated timeframe after inspecting or reviewing the jewelry.
Jewelry Care
Regular care can significantly extend the life of fine jewelry.
We recommend:
- Removing jewelry during heavy physical activity
- Avoiding direct contact with chlorine, bleach and harsh chemicals
- Storing jewelry separately to prevent scratching
- Cleaning jewelry using appropriate methods for the gemstone and metal
- Having frequently worn jewelry inspected periodically
- Checking prongs and gemstone settings if the piece receives a significant impact
If you are unsure how to care for a particular gemstone or piece of jewelry, please contact us before using chemical cleaners or ultrasonic equipment.
